I've been a fan since you guys came onto the internet- and cast my vote every 6 months (for Final Fantasy III of course). It would have been nice to have had the chance to cast a few votes back when the poll was only a local thing, but regardless, I have to say that I think your poll is great, it's actually a realistic one that isn't just based on which game is currently the highest selling. Seeing the classics given some credit is more than appropriate. So I just want to say never get rid of your poll, and for the love of everything Holy, where are all the Final Fantasy fans?! My vote every 6 months isn't cutting it people! Final Fantasy needs to be top 20 at least... Anyway, I just want to say that your poll rules, and although it would have been nice to throw down a vote every month back before it was on the internet, I'll still cast one every 6. Anyway, keep up the good work, and it wouldn't hurt to acquire a few other FF fans along the way.

Thanks for your letter Aaron. We always appreciate reading appreciative things, which come at a pace of about every other letter. And like you, every one of us here is a fan of Final Fantasy. And that Opera scene in number III did give it a little extra edge. Aiming for the top 20 may be a difficult road judging by the shear volume of votes that come in for the games at that rank, but you never know, I'm sure there's a lot of Final Fantasy fans yet who've never voted- and if you recall, number II has been there before (when the first Final Fantasy title was released for Playstation). So we'll see what happens. In the mean time, thanks for your votes, and it would have been nice to have had you as a local too.

I don't know where you get your voters from and I don't have the slightest idea why they have no clue what they're doing. Every mario game ever created doesn't need a billion votes. How about a new game? And besides that X-Box is the best system anyway. Seriously, the original nintindo has better games than the ones that are still being designed now? That's not even realistic. I've some other games a chance. no new game will ever make it on to the list because mario has way more than it should. Even if you don't change your site to have X-Box on it, you should only have like one mario game, one zelda game, and so on to give other games that aren't as popular by your groupies a chance.

Sure passionate about that X-Box huh? Okay... The problem here is that if we started eliminating titles from the best game list to give every game it's time, you know, to be fair, it wouldn't be a best game list anymore. It would be a game list, and that's not that fascinating. Once in a while we do like to post distasteful letters like this one from anonymous angry guy here as a subtle reminder that differences of opinion do exist- and if some comic relief can be derived from it as well, that's just bonus. Anonymous angry guy represents a good third of all the letters we receive. So on average, we get a couple per day like anonymous angry guy. And if anonymous angry guy is reading this, first off, congrats for making the published letters list, and second, it's spelled "Nintendo", with a capital N, as it is a proper noun. And possibly if you had less overall haste, you could have checked for grammatical errors as well. "I've some other games a chance" is a fairly awkward sentence structure and nobody can decipher what you mean by it. But as ridiculous as it may seem, we do value your opinion, because what good is our poll if it doesn't encompass the entire range of votes? Thanks for keeping our validity alive.
